G. Michael Smith, was
hired to design and
program the lighting
looks for the grand
opening of the historic
Capitol Theater in
Maryville, Tennessee.
The lighting system was
designed and installed
by Kenyon Patterson of
Tennessee Lighting
(Knoxville) and consists
of Chauvet LED moving
head fixtures and Aclaim LED house lighitng. The evening was a huge success with patrons
flooding into the newly renovated facility and enjoying the sounds of a swing band while sipping their
favorite coctail.

Tenessee Lighting

Designers and
Installers) to design

of the event using the
new SGM Pilot 3000
controller in the theater.
LED Lighting Used To Enhance Historical Theater
The Miracle Theater -
Pigeon Forge Tennessee
Smoky Mountain Audio Visual founder G.
MIchael Smith was hired to execute the
installation of the lighting and special effects
systems at the Miracle Theater located in
Pigeon Forge Tennessee. This 15 Million
dollar theater features over 70 moving lights,
400 conventional lights and the largest
human fly system in the south!
AS CLEARLY STATED BELOW, THE LIGHTING SYSTEM IN THE CAPITOL THEATER WAS DESIGNED BY TENNESSEE LIGHTING OF KNOXVILLE TENNESSEE. G. MICHAEL SMITH WAS HIRED TO DESIGN AND PROGRAM THE LIGHTING LOOKS FOR THE OPENING CEREMONIES ONLY! THIS WAS NOT A SMOKY MOUNTAIN AUDIO VISUAL INSTALLATION NOR WAS IT A SMOKY MOUNTAIN AUDIO VISUAL PROJECT!!
